Job Description

The Visual Perception and Attention Lab at NYU (PI: Marisa Carrasco) is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to work on psychophysical, oculomotor, neuroimaging, and neuromodulation approaches to studying how attention modulates perception and perceptual learning throughout the visual field. The Postdoctoral Associate will lead research projects that combine behavioral experiments with oculomotor, neuroimaging, or neurostimulation, and work closely with the PI and other lab members.

This position is based in New York and the selected candidate will be expected to work onsite as of their effective start date.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500-$90,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

Qualifications

PhD in psychology or neuroscience; experience working with children, adolescents and adults; experience programming and analyzing experiments; research publications; strong oral and written communication skills; preferably, experience with neuroimaging, neurostimulation or computational approaches.
