Brief Description of Duties:
The Liu Laboratoryat Stony Brook University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral associate to join our new and growing group. We use a multidisciplinary approach that integrates cellular and molecular biology, proteomics and phosphoproteomics, and in vitro/in vivo infection models to uncover how organelles such as the centrosomes and cilia contribute to host defense. The postdoc will receive comprehensive training in a broad range of experimental techniques, including cell culture, molecular and biochemical assays, imaging, and infection models. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop strong research skills, contribute to high-impact projects, and work closely with the PI in a collaborative and supportive environment.
