Be part of change

• Conception of novel stochastic source coding techniques based on channel simulation
• Development of numerical Python code for evaluation
• Optimization and refinement of these techniques in collaboration with a team of engineers
• Collaboration on publicly funded projects
• Publication of research papers and patents
• Travel to international conferences, participation in the academic community
• Advising of student researchers

What you contribute

• Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related program
• Background in Information Theory, ideally with significant prior publications in the field
• Specialization in Channel Simulation, Source Coding, Polarization
• Experience with scientific Python programming
• Native or very good English communication skills

The position is initially limited to 2 years. An extension is explicitly desired.

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
