WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Within our global team Environmental Fate and Structure you work as a PostDoc for one year (with the prospect of extending to two years) to optimize the environmental profile of potential crop protection agents.

  • In your new role, you design, implement, and manage lab automation workflows.
  • Development and optimization of high throughput assays in the field of environmental fate of small molecules are part of your tasks.
  • Moreover, you get the opportunity to operate and optimize liquid handling systems.
  • Last but not least, you play a crucial role in project planning, coordination as well as presentation and you interact with multidisciplinary teams.
  • With access to modern AI tools and digital assistants, you help us work more efficiently and make data-driven decisions.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • PhD in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or a related field
  • expertise in laboratory automation, practical experience with liquid-handling systems as well as in-depth knowledge of data analysis and data management
  • hands-on experience in chromatography is desirable; experience with programming languages such as Python is an advantage
  • passion for optimising laboratory processes combined with excellent organisational skills (incl. project coordination, document management and time management)
  • excellent communication skills in English are essential; advanced German language skills are desirable
  • digital mindset and the willingness to see AI as an opportunity to improve processes and ways of working
