DTU is recruiting for a position in Design for Disassembly and Remanufacturing processes in the newly established National Centre for Remanufacturing - reManuFactory.
As part of the reManuFactory project, funded by the Danish Industry Foundation, you will collaborate closely with Research Assistants, Postdocs, and academic staff to develop cutting-edge methodologies and technology solutions. You will contribute to the development of scalable methods and tools to assess the remanufacturing potential of existing products, to enable efficient and selective remanufacturing processes, and to improve design for remanufacturing. The research is inherently cross-disciplinary, integrating simulation-driven design, numerical optimization, and systems engineering approaches to analyze complex engineering design spaces and support informed decision-making across technical, economic, and environmental objectives.

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
