
Are you interested in contributing to research that supports the energy transition through innovative subsurface technologies? At DTU Offshore, you will have the opportunity to work on scientific and engineering challenges related to underground energy and fluid storage systems. We are seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to research on coupled processes in geological formations and their implications for the performance of subsurface storage technologies. You will join an international research environment and collaborate with academic and industrial partners on projects related to carbon storage, geothermal energy, hydrogen storage, and other subsurface applications.
Your overall focus will be to advance the understanding and prediction of processes governing underground energy and fluid storage through the development and application of advanced simulation workflows. You will investigate coupled multiphysics phenomena in geological formations and contribute to improving the safety, efficiency, and long-term performance of subsurface storage systems. Working closely with colleagues at DTU, industrial partners, and international researchers, you will conduct high-quality research that bridges fundamental science and practical energy-transition applications.
