Postal Operative - Delivery Driver

Compensation: £17.16 / hour

Join Our Team as a Delivery Driver (Fixed-Term Contract)

Do you enjoy being out on the road, working independently, and providing excellent customer service? We're looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join us on a fixed-term contract from September to the end of January, supporting our busy peak period.

As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a vital role in connecting our community by ensuring mail and parcels are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. You'll represent our brand while providing a friendly and professional service to customers across the island.

This is a varied and active role that involves planning and completing delivery routes, handling mail and parcels with care, and working both independently and as part of a wider team to keep our network running smoothly.

A full, valid driving licence is essential for this role. If you're dependable, customer-focused, and enjoy working outdoors, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort and process mail accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver mail and parcels safely, accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing Jersey Post
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
  • A positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
  • Full, valid driving licence.
