Job Title: Post-Surgical Med/Surg Registered Nurse

Location: Topeka, KS

Unit: Post-Surgical Bariatric Surgery & Urology

Contract Length: 26–52 Weeks

Schedule: Full-Time | 3x12s | Day or Night Shift

Pay Range: $60–$70/per hour | 1099

Openings: 4 Day Shift | 4 Night Shift

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurses for long-term contract opportunities on a 28-bed post-surgical unit in Topeka, Kansas.

The unit cares for patients following bariatric, urologic and nephrology procedures, along with patients requiring treatment for GI conditions, wounds, infections, amputations, and other surgical needs. Typical staffing ratios are 1:6. Work Order Intake Form-CareCare

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• ADN or BSN
• Minimum 1 year of acute-care Med/Surg experience
• Progressive Care or Step-Down experience preferred
• Epic experience preferred

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 12-hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Day and night shift opportunities
• Every-other-weekend rotation
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating to other post-surgical and Med/Surg inpatient units may be required
• No call requirements
• Minimum 26-week commitment, with assignments available up to 52 weeks
