Job Description

Who we are

We're Future, a global leader in specialist media. Our people bring our trusted brands to life, helping millions of people discover expert content that informs, inspires, and drives action. As a pioneering multiplatform media powerhouse, we provide expert content and technology that build valuable communities across all channels.

What you'll do

Future is looking for a Post-Production Manager to lead the day-to-day management of our post-production pipeline, making sure footage moves smoothly from shoot to finished, delivered asset. You'll manage the schedule, resourcing, and quality of post-production work across editors and freelance post specialists — keeping projects on time, on budget, and to Future's editorial and brand standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the craft of post-production and is equally comfortable managing people, process, and deadlines.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience as a Post-Production Manager, Post Producer, or similar role within a media company, production house, or creative agency.
  • Strong understanding of the post-production process — editing, grading, sound, and motion graphics — including hands-on editing experience.
  • Experience managing a team, whether in-house editors, motion graphics artists, or a mix of internal and freelance post resource.
  • Confident scheduling and resourcing work across multiple concurrent projects, with a good sense of prioritisation under pressure.
  • Comfortable managing feedback and approval processes, keeping revisions organised and stakeholders aligned.
  • Strong communicator, able to liaise clearly between creative, production, and brand teams.
  • Highly organised, with a sharp eye for quality and consistency across video output.
  • A genuine interest in video content, editing craft, and the audiences Future's brands serve.

What we offer

  • Uncapped leave
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Discounted rates with Dental care and Private Medical care
  • When we hit our targets, enjoy a share of our profits with a bonus
  • Refer a friend scheme - with payment following the successful hire.
  • Well-being support with access to our Colleague Assistant Programmes
  • Opportunity to purchase shares in Future, with our Share Incentive Plan
  • Salary sacrifice Pension scheme up to 5% match
  • Free drinks and snacks in our offices

The expected range for this role is £40,000- £45,000.

This is a hybrid role, working three days per week from our London Paddington office.
