HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting attorneys completing judicial clerkships who are ready to transition into private practice with a nationally recognized litigation team. What You'll Do
As a Post-Clerkship Attorney, you will:
Contribute to complex litigation matters from day one, including high-stakes trials, appellate proceedings, and class action defense.
Draft and review motions, briefs, and pleadings that demand precision and persuasive legal writing.
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys in case strategy development, trial preparation, and appeals work
Handle client interactions with professionalism, discretion, and strong attention to detail.
Engage in pro bono work (up to 50 hours counted toward billable requirements) while gaining broad exposure to diverse matters.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who bring:
Judicial clerkship experience (state or federal).
Excellent academic credentials from a respected law school (required).
Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused practice environment
Compensation & Billable Expectations
Salary aligned to year of law school graduation and market location
Billable expectation: 1,950 hours annually (including 50 pro bono hours).
Additional 200 productive hours required (client development, firm activities, training).
Bonus opportunities:
2,050 hours = 5% of base salary
2,150 hours = 10% of base salary
Interview Process
Round 1: Conversation with a practice group leader.
Round 2: In-person interview (1.5 2 hours) with firm leadership and team members.
