Job Description

onsemi is seeking a Post-Fab Engineer in Hopewell Junction, East Fishkill, NY. We are seeking a highly motivated entry-level engineer to join our 300mm Post-Fab team in East Fishkill, NY. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and efficiency of our semiconductor manufacturing processes as we ramp into volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Learn, maintain, and create the necessary tool and process controls to support Post-Fab tooling in production to achieve quality standards

• Work in close collaboration with shift Operators and Technicians Teams to maintain and improve the processes and tools utilized in post-fab production

• Engage with the team to lead and work on continuous improvement projects to enable more efficient processes and utilization of our tools in Post Fab production, in terms of Quality, Manufacturing Speed, and Cost.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing, to support new product introductions.

• Analyze process data and apply statistical methods to drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related degree

• Experience – 0 to 2 years of relevant experience

Skills:

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and provide hands-on support to operations staff.

Salary: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is$75,300 to $120,400 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of the internal equity of our current team members.
