The Methods Think Tank of the CIHR Pan-Canadian HIV/AIDS and
Sexually Transmitted and Blood Borne Infections (STBBIs) Clinical Trials
Research Network (CTN+) is offering a 1-year Postdoctoral Researcher
position in research methodology based at McGill University with an
annual salary of $70,000, plus benefits (renewable based on
performance). The position focuses on developing advanced
methodology to evaluate HIV and STBBIs interventions as part of the
CTN+. Additionally, this opportunity includes working across some of
Canada’s leading HIV clinical investigators today.
The postdoctoral researcher will play a central role in the Methods
Think Tank, contributing to methodological innovation, research
development, and knowledge translation within CTN+. Responsibilities

About the CTN+ Methods Think Tank
The Methods Think Tank within the CIHR Pan-Canadian HIV/AIDS and
STBBI Clinical Trials Research Network (CTN+) plays a pivotal role in
ensuring that clinical trials and research initiatives are methodologically
robust, inclusive, and impactful. This expert-driven initiative builds on
over 30 years of CTN’s experience in providing methodological and
statistical support, now expanding to drive innovation in trial design,
implementation science, and equitable research practices. The

expertise to strengthen CTN+ research:
The Methods Think Tank aims to enhance the rigor, efficiency, and
applicability of clinical research conducted within CTN+.
Through innovative trial designs and implementation science, the Think
Tank accelerates the transition from research findings to real-world
clinical improvements, ultimately strengthening Canada’s HIV and STBBI
research infrastructure.
