Job Description

Two Post-Doctoral Fellow positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Filippo Veglia. The Veglia lab focuses on the study of molecular and metabolic perturbations that drive the reprogramming of myeloid cells in the brain tumor microenvironment, with a final goal to identify novel therapeutic strategies to target immunosuppressive myeloid cells.

We are seeking two highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to investigate the mechanisms regulating the differentiation and function of immune cells—specifically myeloid cells and T lymphocytes—within the glioblastoma microenvironment. The fellows will also evaluate novel therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing the efficacy of immunotherapy for patients with glioblastoma.

A strong background and publication record in tumor immunology is essential. Additional expertise in immunology, myeloid cell biology, CAR T cells, T cells, mouse models and flow cytometry is highly valued. Candidates should have recently obtained, or be nearing completion of, a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
