1-2 Post-doctoral Fellows (or Research Associates) in the HK Institute of Quantum Science & Technology(Ref.: 536954 )

Duties and Responsibilities

• work on the research projects related to photonic or neutral atom quantum computing, and quantum information/simulation under co-supervision of Profs. Zidan Wang & Xianmin Jin
• coordinate theoretical and/or numerical analyses
• assist in the preparation of research reports and manuscripts
• perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• a Ph.D. degree in physics or a related discipline
• good command of written and spoken English
• good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• the ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines
• the ability to work independently and in a team
• self-motivated and responsible

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
