Job Description

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 536200), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Structural Biology (macromolecule crystallography or cryo-EM) or Virology, and demonstrate exceptional experimental, writing, and communication abilities. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated research experience in Structural biology with strong background in cryo-electron tomography, or cell biology with strong background in fluorescent microscopy imaging. The work experience on RNA virus replication mechanism is also recommended. Candidates must exhibit a strong command of written and spoken English, and effective communication skills. Additionally, they should display self-motivation, innovation, and the capacity to thrive in an interdisciplinary team setting.
