Job Description
A postdoctoral position is available in the Cohen lab to investigate the role of tubulin posttranslational modifications in organelle structure, function, and interactions during neuronal differentiation. The lab uses a variety of microscopy approaches – including multispectral and superresolution imaging – to study how organelle communication networks remodel in response to developmental and environmental cues, in normal physiology and disease.
Experience with cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry, and microscopy/image analysis are required.
Experience with culture of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and iPSC-derived neurons as well as multispectral and superresolution microscopy (e.g., STED) are preferred.
