Are you passionate about improving global health care? Do you want to contribute to improving patients' quality of life through your expertise? In a challenging work environment that offers opportunities for developing and increasing your own skills? You’ve come to the right place!
Moving mountains together – as Post-Doc – Innovative manufacturing concepts on Biologics (all genders)
Early Manufacturing Process Development (EMPD) within Biologics Drug Product Development is responsible for developing robust manufacturing processes for AbbVie's parenteral pipeline projects, supporting the advancement of biologics through early clinical stages. Biologics are often co-administered with other biologics to boost their clinical efficacy and the overall patient experience, while requiring multiple injections. Formulating both active ingredients into a single drug product significantly strengthens patient compliance and dose accuracy. This goes along with additional technical challenges for drug development and manufacturing, which will become your primary topics of interest through the upcoming 24 months. You will design, execute and assess studies to identify key risks and their mechanisms for co-formulating biologics during drug product development and manufacturing, comprising identified unit operations as well as in-process controls to enable a state-of-the-art, compliant and robust control strategy while maintaining maximum dose-range flexibility.
