Our client, a fast-growing clinical AI company backed by a major academic medical center, is seeking a Deployment Specialist with 1–3 years of experience to own the end-to-end customer lifecycle. You'll be the bridge between healthcare customers and the engineering team, ensuring every deployment drives measurable ROI and real-world impact.
Own the full customer journey from post-sale onboarding through ongoing success — running daily high-touch sessions during the first 2–3 weeks, then managing ongoing check-ins across 6–9 accounts
Serve as the sole company representative on client calls (often with 15+ stakeholders including clinicians and C-suite), navigating complex healthcare operations and building trusted relationships
Manage integrations with client EMRs, deploy the platform, and train end users on how to use the product effectively
Translate customer needs and issues into clear, actionable requirements for the engineering team, and follow up relentlessly to ensure timely resolution
Track and measure deployment ROI, identify opportunities for expansion, and help build scalable processes as the company moves upmarket into enterprise health systems
At least 1 year in a customer-facing role (implementation, deployment, or customer success) — must have owned client relationships directly
Experience at a Series A–D startup
Bachelor's degree from a top-20 U.S. University
Technical aptitude & SQL familiarity — comfortable with software systems, data, configuration tools, or structured problem-solving; can communicate effectively with engineers.
Based in or willing to relocate to New York City — role is in-person 5 days/week in Chelsea; relocation support available
U.S. citizenship required — no visa sponsorship available
1–3 years of experience in customer-facing roles as a deployment strategist, or implementation/engagement manager at a Series A–D startup
Concise, direct communicator — can run a meeting with 15 client stakeholders solo and translate client needs into clear engineering requirements without rambling
Experience working with AI/ML products, automation platforms, or data workflow tools in a deployment capacity
1–3 years of post-grad work experience with at least 1 year in a customer-facing role (implementation, deployment, project management, or similar)
Technical aptitude — comfortable with software systems and able to communicate effectively with engineers; SQL familiarity is a strong plus
Bachelor's degree from a top-20 university
Startup or high-growth experience — thrives in ambiguity, builds own processes, and moves fast
