Post Close Specialist - Location based on successful candidate, within AgCredit Territory

The Post Close Specialist will provide efficient clerical and customer post-closing support to the Association, while assisting in the servicing and growth of business. Comply with all AgCredit, ACA policies and procedures while maintaining regular and punctual attendance as expected of this position.

What You'll Do:

  1. Handles collateral lien servicing and management for the Association, including but not limited to continuing, amending, and terminating Financing Statements.
  2. Manage collateral insurance for the Association, including requesting placement of loss payee/mortgagee interest, tracking receipts of proof of coverage, reviewing policies, monitoring and following up on insurance notifications, and contacting insurance providers as needed.
  3. Coordinates with Loan Operations to place Lender’s Single Interest (LSI) insurance coverage when needed.
  4. Performs Farm Service Agency (FSA) Guarantee post-closing requirements for the Association, including preparing closing reports, sending closing packets to FSA, tracking receipt of FSA guarantees, and certifying FSA guarantees.
  5. Completes FSA Guarantee Semi-Annual Lender Reports and FSA coding reviews and leads resolution of identified issues.
  6. Manage assignments and joint checks for the Association, including preparing and sending notices of security interest, placing assignments, tracking receipts of acknowledgment, and contacting buyers, crop insurance agents, or FSA personnel as needed.
  7. Initiates and handles lien releases as directed.
  8. Assist lending team with maintaining CRM, loan portfolio management, and loan servicing tasks.
  9. May be responsible for supporting crop insurance.
  10. Scans, uploads, and indexes documents as needed.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • High School graduate or GED and two years of business experience
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Able to use technology and willingness to learn
  • Efficiently and accurately follows through on tasks
  • Takes direction well
  • The ability to travel to lending offices, AgFirst Farm Credit Bank, and other locations for training. Some overnight travel may be expected.
