Job Role

The Portuguese (Brazil) Audio QA Annotation Specialist is a freelance project-based role responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring the quality of audio annotation outputs that support the development of advanced speech recognition and multilingual AI systems.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong listening skills, excellent command of Brazilian Portuguese, and prior experience in audio annotation, transcription, voice quality evaluation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance. The successful candidate will evaluate audio recordings for accuracy, pronunciation, alignment, transcription quality, and annotation consistency while maintaining high quality standards throughout the review process.

This is a flexible remote engagement rather than a traditional full-time or part-time employment opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Review and evaluate audio recordings, transcriptions, and annotation outputs for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• 
  Verify pronunciation, speech clarity, linguistic accuracy, timing alignment, and annotation completeness.
• 
  Identify quality issues and provide structured feedback to improve annotation accuracy.
• 
  Validate audio datasets according to established quality assurance guidelines and project specifications.
• 
  Ensure annotation consistency across multilingual AI training datasets.
• 
  Maintain detailed quality documentation and report recurring annotation issues to project teams.
• 
  Collaborate with reviewers, annotators, and project managers throughout the quality assurance process.
• 
  Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI speech recognition and multilingual language models.

Candidate Requirements

• 
  Native-level fluency in Portuguese (Brazil) with excellent listening, reading, and communication skills.
• 
  Minimum 1 year of professional experience in audio annotation, transcription, linguistic quality assurance, localization, or related language evaluation work.
• 
  Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify pronunciation, transcription, and annotation inconsistencies.
• 
  Experience reviewing audio quality and validating annotation outputs is highly preferred.
• 
  Familiarity with audio editing or annotation tools is considered an advantage.
• 
  Strong analytical and quality control mindset.
• 
  Ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines while meeting project deadlines.

  Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
