Job Description
The Portfolio Specialist participates in activities and initiatives that contribute to the development, optimization and execution of agreed Asset Owner Business Plans across portfolios.
Requirements
- Analyzes portfolio data and KPI's by identifying early-warning indicators/drivers or trends to optimize portfolios' strategy.
- Analyzes perfromance focusing on collections vs agreed SLA targets with asset owners and internal agreed targets.
- Prepares adhoc reports/ analysis requested by the Heads of the NPL Portfolio Management or the asset owner.
- Streamlines processes, drafts and maintains policies for the smooth execution of strategy across all portfolios.
- Contributes to initiatives impmentaion and monitoring through drafting of project plans, reassuring with the Business actions/delivery items, handling operational/ business issues, tracking of initiative performance.
- Assists in the preparation of presentations for Management/Portfolio Committees and Asset Owners.
Education, Experience and Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business Administration, Statistics or related field, from an accredited college or university
- Master’s degree will be considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Banking or related industry. Experience in Non-Performing Exposures will be considered a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- Computer literacy, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of SQL, statistical (R, Python etc.), visualization (Power BI, Tableau etc.) tools will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of Qualco Collections System or Arotron will be considered an asset
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Problem-solving skills including the ability to structure challenges and deal with new issues in a dynamic work environment
