Job Description

This temporary position will assist the Portfolio Review Coordinator and an Assistant Director of Admissions with incoming student applications during the review process.

This position will work 4-7.5 hours per day based on the following schedule:

January – February (7.5 hours per day) February – March (4 hours per day)

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in running audio/visual presentations of applicant portfolios.
  • Assist in the portfolio review process by going through applications with faculty and Admissions Assistant Director of assigned school.
  • Assist with the check in and organization of performing arts auditions.
  • Assist with the check in and organization of visual art interviews.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to be detail-oriented
  • Ability to take and follow directions
  • Ability to work with a broad range of personalities
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic audio/visual equipment

EDUCATION:

  • High school graduate or high school proficiency

EXPERIENCE:

  • Computer experience with knowledge of data entry helpful
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel a plus

$18.00 - $18.76 an hour
