In this role, you'll:


Support management and internal and external stakeholders through preparation of critical financial reporting timetables and co-ordination of the external audit processes for statutory and federal audit requirements.

Play a strategic role in delivering Transport for NSW’s portfolio‑wide reporting, including preparation of returns and submissions for Transport portfolio’s capital program performance and providing high quality, accurate and timely reports on investment proposals and program performance.

Provide inputs to continuous process improvements and develop stakeholder relationships to enhance organisational performance and long‑term outcomes.

Support the early close and year end processes in Financial Accounting & Control as required during peak reporting periods.

About you

You possess a strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory reporting and compliance in large, complex organisations.

You have experience preparing high‑quality financial reports and workpapers to support program performance reporting and audit processes.

You are adept with analysing and interpreting data from multiple funding sources, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely and compliant reporting.

You have obtained a Bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Business, Economics or Commerce) from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification, demonstrated and relevant professional experience, and a full member of a recognised professional accounting body (or actively progressing toward it).
