Who we are looking for

This is what you will do

The International Markets Development Division (IMDD) is responsible for expanding and managing Chiesi's operations in international markets. This division focuses on portfolio strategy, commercial excellence and the integration of various business units to enhance the company's presence and performance in growth and core markets.

The Portfolio Operations & Launch Excellence Manager supports the Lifecycle Management & Launch Excellence function by providing operational, analytical, and governance support across Lifecycle Management, Launch Excellence, Geo-Expansion, and strategic business initiatives. The role will be responsible for driving execution follow-through, performance monitoring, KPI reporting, cross-functional coordination, and business analyses across priority markets.

You will be responsible for

Strategic Business Operations & Analytical Support

  • Consolidate LTP assumptions, forecasts, and market projections across BUs & partners
  • Support profitability analyses, business case development, portfolio reviews, and strategic assessments
  • Prepare analyses, reports, presentations, and recommendations supporting portfolio discussions, business reviews, and management decision-making
  • Monitor progress against agreed project deliverables and ensure timely completion of actions across stakeholders

Launch Excellence & Post-Launch Governance Support

  • Maintain and update launch readiness plans for priority launches, ensuring all key activities, milestones, owners and timelines are tracked and reported
  • Consolidate launch and post-launch performance data from BUs, parters, BI & ComEx, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain launch KPI dashboards and support monitoring of launch performance
  • Support preparation of launch governance meetings, launch reviews, and post-launch performance assessments
  • Maintain and continuously improve launch governance tools, templates, reporting frameworks, and best-practice repositories

Geo-Expansion & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Support assessment and tracking of geo-expansion opportunities across the portfolio
  • Coordinate the collection and consolidation of market assessments, launch timelines, forecasts, and business case inputs supporting geo-expansion decisions
  • Maintain visibility of planned launches vs LYP assumptions and identify potential gaps
  • Support preparation of geo-expansion discussions with partners & internal stakeholders

You will need to have

A highly structured and analytical professional with experience in pharmaceutical business operations, launch excellence, post-launch excellence, strategic planning or commercial excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with project management and stakeholder coordination skills and is comfortable operating across multiple functions, markets, and strategic initiatives.

  • 4-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical launch excellence, business operations, commercial excellence, strategic planning, portfolio support or related cross-functional roles
  • Experience supporting launch readiness activities, launch governance frameworks, and milestone tracking across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience supporting business planning, forecasting, profitability analyses, and strategic assessments
  • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination capabilities across multiples stakeholders and markets
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities preferred

Location

The role is based in the HQ (Italy, Parma) with hybrid way of working including presence in the office and remote working

Compensation Range

The minimum salary for this role is €58.880, aligned to our established salary framework. The final offer will reflect the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

This role is eligible to participate in an annual bonus scheme, subject to company and individual performance.
