We are looking for a Portfolio Manager F/H/X to join our Amsterdam office.
As Portfolio Manager, you will report to the Country Operations Manager and take full ownership of the Dutch energy portfolio — optimizing its performance, maximizing its value, and ensuring seamless operations across all assets.
Your role sits at the intersection of energy markets, asset operations, and client relationships. You will work in a high-autonomy environment where your decisions have a direct financial impact.
Your role is structured around three main areas:
Experience & Technical Skills
5+ years of experience in the energy sector, with strong expertise in electricity markets
Solid knowledge of ancillary services and wholesale power trading
Deep understanding of flexible energy assets: battery storage, co-generation (CHP), renewables
Proficiency in financial settlements and contract management
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and solid SQL skills
Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus
Soft skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting complex data and turning it into decisions
Intrapreneurial and proactive: you take ownership and move things forward
Positive, pragmatic, and professional attitude
