Greenvolt Power Spain is seeking for a Portfolio Manager. This position is suited for professionals passionate about the renewable energy sector who can combine financial acumen with operational insights to drive the success of a dynamic portfolio of renewable assets.

This role involves close collaboration with business development, finance, planning and control and regulatory teams to guarantee the proper route-to-market strategy of the projects and optimize the portfolio's profitability while reporting and maintaining compliance with market standards and renewable energy policies. The position is critical for maximizing the value of Greenvolt investments, namely on wind, solar, biomass and storage assets.

Key accountabilities

​​​ Portfolio Management

• Oversee a portfolio of operational and under-development renewable energy assets, ensuring their route to market strategy and monitoring its implementation.
• Monitor asset performance metrics (e.g., production, downtime, revenues) and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance portfolio profitability and operational efficiency.
• Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management and shareholders on portfolio performance.
• Serve as a liaison with energy market operators and regulatory bodies.
• Analyze assets on balance sheet, signed contracts, including risk exposure.

Financial Oversight

• Track budgets, operating expenses, and financial performance against targets.
• Support revenue management by analyzing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), energy trading positions, and market trends.

Market and Strategy Analysis

• Liaison with market analysts to understand market trends and policy changes, identifying opportunities for portfolio expansion or optimization.
• Support the development of long-term strategies for asset growth, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, asset management, or portfolio management within an IPP or in the energy sector.
• Proven track record in managing renewable energy projects.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Knowledge of renewable energy regulatory frameworks.
• English: Good communication both verbal and written required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights clearly.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
