About Your Company

King Deux is partnering with an Europe investment analysis firm focused on serving EU investors for their allocation towards the greater China area via its UCITS-fund. We are looking for a highly motivated self portfolio management analyst to support the management team and investment organization in its daily operations and investment processes. The role can be based in Shanghai or in Hong Kong.

About your role

• Support the development of internal review structures, processes, templates and tools for its investment company reviews / industry screening processes, databases, template, portfolio company, and portfolio performance measurements.
• Maintain and update Investment team macro, industry and company specific key databases and leading indicators. Participate in key external industry expert seminars from sell side brokerage firms
• Leverage investment team research and coverage in shanghai to support management team to prepare investor meetings, roadshow, homepage, annual reports, newsletter and related insight articles
• To conduct on demand specific research of leading market/ industry indicators or related operational items
• Support key other ad-hoc operational functions related to the daily operations and administration of shanghai office

What you will need to succeed

• Highly passionate about investment management, equity research and asset management industry in China
• 2-3+ years relevant working experiences either from equity research (buy side or sell side) or from related portfolio / asset management industry sector
• Master's degree or above from a well recognized university in the field of accounting, finance and investments.
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English both oral and written, Fluent in Swedish is a plus.
• Exceptional written communication and basic programming skills preferred
• High-quality standards for content accuracy and attention to details
• Hands-on and self-motivated with an ability to independently structure, priorities own work schedule
• High Integrity, strong-minded, pressure resistance, independent thinking, international mindset
• Humble, eager to learn with an entrepreneurial mindset to join a highly passionate and ambitions team to develop a unique team and culture to provide high quality service to our internal & external stakeholder
