About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
As a core member of our Portfolio DataOps team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Produce daily operational deliverables in line with client service level agreements, in any of the following three areas:
Data Validation:
Ensure complete data feeds and data ingestion (Client, counterparty, vendor, and internal data)
Validate feeds and resolve/escalate feed issues
Ensure feed standardization through Normalized Data Containers
Set up new accounts in Centralized account management system
Driving automation quality for trading, accruals, broker, and related data
Achieving this through optimized processes and configuration of middleware, Æxeo S, CitcoRecs and management of vendors
Processing
Loading/processing and amending of all trades (Internal and external trades)
G/L Bookings and amendments & leveraging automation where available
Ensure processing standardization through ATM/BRM/RPA
Display good understanding of GL automation
Ensure process excellence through focus on metrics and KPI’s to drive data quality standards across clients and vendors.
Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by proactively seeking opportunities for process enhancement, emphasizing efficiency gains through automated solutions and proposals to push back process changes to source.
Adhere to standard practices and internal procedures in all aspects of work, ensuring consistency and compliance with organizational policies.
Support of audits/conversions and new launches
Maintain positive and professional relationships with all stakeholders.
Review and coach junior staff; assist in the resolution of day-to-day issues
Prioritization
Determination of relative urgency of activities in terms of impact to client experience
Alignment to SLA’s, deliverables, and impact across operating model
Processing Oversight
Surfacing completeness of bulk data feeds and overall processing and status of activities to complete
Process Standardization and improvement
Process Standardization in the context of diverse client relationships, integration methods and complex instruments
Identify and propose improvement opportunities.
System Integration
Presentation of integrated workflow, activities and data across systems including trade data pending load into Aexeo
Data – Driven Decision Making:
Embrace a data-first approach, demonstrating proficiency in working with diverse datasets
Conduct thorough data analysis, and implementing automation processes to extract valuable insights and drive informed business decisions
Collaboration
Channels to gather client-specific knowledge and guidance, while providing effective supporting communication to all participants in the NAV process
Risk Management
Awareness and comprehension of Risk appetite with an ability to recognize if a process is inside or outside of appetite
Comfortable in pushing back on processes deemed to be outside of appetite and/or working with counterparts to bring processes back inside tolerance
Embracing and enabling an open risk culture where issues or errors are viewed as a learning opportunity and recorded without fear on the risk reporting tool
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Professional Accounting/Finance designation (such as CFA, CPA) considered an asset
2+ years in Financial Services with an exposure to P&L reporting or Operation processing
Product knowledge of domestic, global and OTC security markets, fixed income, and derivatives
Strong customer relationship skills
Knowledge of Hedge Funds
Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Natural flair for technology
