Job Description

In this role, you'll:


Track project progress, risks, milestones, and benefits across the portfolio, and delivers clear reporting and insights to senior leadership to support decision-making and strategic alignment.

Ensure all projects follow established frameworks, policies, and standards, maintaining accurate documentation and supporting transparency, auditability, and accountability.

Facilitate communication across stakeholders, monitors resources and risks, and drives improvements in portfolio management processes to achieve strategic outcomes and public value.

Please note: There are 6x permanent roles and 1x Temporary Fixed Term role available.

About you


You take ownership of your day-to-day work, setting priorities, making decisions within agreed plans, and proactively suggesting better ways of working while escalating more complex or sensitive issues when needed.

You use your project expertise and tools like dashboards, reporting, and frameworks to track performance, manage risks, and keep things on course while supporting strong governance and outcomes.

You work closely with stakeholders across all levels, keeping communication clear, aligning everyone on priorities, and helping teams stay coordinated and focused on delivering results.

About ANSTO

ANSTO is one of Australia’s largest public research organisations and custodian of much of our country’s important science infrastructure, including the OPAL nuclear research reactor, the Australian Synchrotron, accelerators, cyclotrons and neutron beam instruments.
