Portfolio Analyst

This role reports to the Portfolio Risk Manager of Power Generation Service (PGS) and provides financial and commercial support to the Operations team for the management and planning of Gas Turbine Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s).

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize parts rotation planning within the LTSA financial models;
  • Lead LTSA Parts rotation reviews quarterly and/or post-outage, and update associated LTSA financial models required to support the planning and ordering of parts;
  • Communicate SAP demand changes to parts planning teams;
  • Validate parts configuration with Engineering and Operations teams;
  • Support cost and productivity updates within financial models;
  • Support with modeling software development projects roll out activities such as data migration, user acceptance testing, users training, process and procedures documentation, etc.
  • Collect data and perform analyses to optimize parts usage across LTSA contracts;
  • Collect data and assist with activities related to special projects associated with LTSA operational models’ analysis;
  • Support creation of new LTSA project financial models and conversion into LTSA operational models.
  • Create demand for new parts orders in SAP and communicate SAP demand changes to parts planning teams
  • Support commercial sales teams’ analysis of LTSA scope revisions

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree from college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience equal to five (5) years.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business general financial statements. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, suppliers and the public.
  • Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, internet software and basic database. Knowledge of business reporting software (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is desirable.
  • 10% business travel may be required
