We are transforming our Strategy & Digital Operations division by creating a new, dedicated Reporting & Insights pillar. This initiative combines the expertise of our current analysts with several brand-new roles designed to elevate our strategic impact. We are now hiring for these new positions to complete our team structure. If you want to be part of a proactive, value-driven team that blends established talent with new opportunities, this is your chance to help build our analytical foundation.

As a Portfolio Analyst within our Collection Services division, you will play a key role in supporting collections strategy, digital performance and operational decision-making through data-led insights and experimentation. Working closely with Strategy, Operations and Digital teams, you will uncover performance opportunities, identify emerging risks and help drive initiatives that improve portfolio outcomes and profitability.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys diving into complex datasets, solving business problems and translating analytical findings into practical recommendations that create measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse portfolio performance data to identify emerging risks, trends and improvement opportunities
  • Develop analytical insights and commercial hypotheses to support strategic decision-making
  • Support pricing exercises, tenders and RFP submissions through quantitative modelling and commercial analysis
  • Design and deliver client-facing performance review packs and portfolio deep-dives
  • Build and assess A/B tests and Champion/Challenger experiments to optimise collections strategies
  • Analyse digital and operational channel performance to improve effectiveness and customer outcomes
  • Quantify the financial impact of strategic initiatives and performance improvements
  • Partner with stakeholders across Strategy, Digital, Operations and Transformation teams to deliver data-driven recommendations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in portfolio analytics, collections strategy, business intelligence, data analytics or a similar analytical role
  • Strong SQL skills with experience extracting, manipulating and analysing large datasets
  • Advanced Excel and data modelling capabilities
  • Experience with statistical or analytical tools such as R, Python, SAS or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence platforms
  • Understanding of experimental design, hypothesis testing and performance measurement frameworks
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate analytical findings into business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance or a related quantitative discipline.

What’s In It for You?

  • Opportunity to work on high-impact strategic initiatives across a large and complex operation
  • Exposure to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Develop advanced analytical, commercial and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Be part of a growing Reporting & Insights function with strong career progression opportunities
  • Ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.

We offer a range of benefits, including flexible hybrid working, performance‑based bonuses, wellbeing support through EAP and gym discounts, health insurance benefits, novated leasing options, member rates for car share providers, a relaxed dress code and complimentary breakfast snacks and fresh fruit in the office
