Job Title: Porter - Cleaner
Location: Nanaimo, BC
Shift: Part Time, Permanent, 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm )
Wage: $18 /hour

About the Role:

We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space! This is a part-time opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service – keeping our communities safe & sanitized.

What you’ll be doing:

• Cleaning the food court are, chairs, tables and doing the trays.
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
• Sanitation of all touch points to ensure the health and safety of community and staff
• Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
• Other duties as required or assigned by the Manager

You have:

• The eligibility and ability to obtain all applicable security clearance(s) including but not limited to Criminal Background Check and Reliability Check
• A willingness to work and learn
• Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
• Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
