Responsibilities

• Supporting the achievement of departmental yield and efficiency targets.
• Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained.
• Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to.
• Moving carcasses around the factory.
• Working in a chilled environment.
• Use of knives or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming.
• Be aware of and work to departmental SOP’s.
• Proper use and storage of issued PPE (including chainmail and knives etc.)
• Responsible for the intake and weighing in of carcasses and ensuring they meet customer specifications

• Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
