To transport and escort patients, equipment, files and related items between different departments of a hospital to support hospital operations in delivering the highest standards of care
Ensure that collections and deliveries are made from/to units and stores
• Collect prescription charts, patient credits and schedule 5 and 6 order books from the nursing units
• Deliver dispensed medication to nursing units
• Replenish and deliver stock (including consumables and requisition stock) to the stores
• Handle and deliver hazardous substances
Deliver a messenger and administrative service to the Pharmacy
• Deliver general pharmacy documents
• Collect and distribute mail to staff members
• Ensure stationary order is collected
• Perform ad hoc administrative functions as requested by Pharmacy Manager
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 10

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Patient rights charter
English proficiency (read; speak and write)
Knowledge of Medico,legal risks
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Internal emergency evacuation plans
Knowledge of administrative tasks
Health and Safety Act and regulations
