Assist with daily porter tasks, such as service requests and jobs at communities
•Respond to maintenance related issues in a timely manner
•Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, painting, andexterior building repairs.
•Responsible for work order systems accuracy by verifying all orders are completed in a timely manner tocompany standards and the tenant’s satisfaction.
•Ensure maintenance requests are handled as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible and alwayscompleted within 24 hours. Inform Property Manager and resident if work delayed due to needed parts.
•Promptly communicate with the property manager concerning all maintenance issues at the property.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
•High school diploma or equivalent is required.
•At least five years of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
•General knowledge of maintenance repair and service including plumbing, electrical, generalmaintenance.
•Ability to read, write and understand English
•Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, computer, printer, copier, and etc.
