The Defects Analyst will be responsible for accurately tracking, monitoring, reporting, and managing defective claims both internally and in conjunction with outside Parts Vendors. This position interacts directly with the Warehouse Supervisor, Parts Supervisor, and Administrative Staff to maintain, organize warehouse, and assist in maintaining accurate inventory.
Responsibilities
• Primary
• Examine and repair internal defects without compromising customers standards
• Report accurately defective parts
• Create claim entry in AMOS - Create claim entry in VELES ("Defective Parts by VIN & Installer")
• Save claim data in Excel file ("Defects by location")
• Track and update information in all systems until final resolution is executed
• Upon physical defect being brought to Defect Analyst, has to be followed by Defective Part form that correctly describes circumstances of its discovery
• Physical defects must be identified by their claim number at all times
• Address all defects and claims related issues promptly
• Keep physical and electronic paper trail of communication with MOBIS and other interested parties pertaining to defects/claims
• Execute disposition actions as agreed with MOBIS
• Track and verify claim resolutions
• Ensure allocated parts for heavy installation are ready and transferred to Heavy Department in a timely manner for production
• Monitor consumption of light PIO's by heavy department and report irregularities
• Secondary
• Inspect incoming shipments and report quality issues to MOBIS
• Inspect parts that show potential non-conformance
• Communicate inspection findings and ensure the follow-up actions are executed
• Document and record all quality concerns for internal record keeping
• Parts status checks performed before month end inventory audit - Count physical parts in warehouse monthly
• Locating non-closed, installed parts to solve variance concerns
• Participate in inventory reconciling of parts with high discrepancy
• Analyze missing installs list from MOBIS before month end audit to close installed PIO on shipped vehicles
Compensation Range
$58,000-$63,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills
• Strong communication, critical thinking, planning, and organizational skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred
Education & Experience
• HS Diploma/GED Required
◦ Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• 1 - 2 Years of Direct Experience Required
• 2 - 5 Years of Direct Experience Preferred
• Fork Lift Certification Class 2 and 3 Required
• Training in Warehouse Safety and Hazardous Materials Preferred
