Our Location: Our Seattle Fulfillment Center (SFC) is located in the heart of the Ikea Commercial District where we have 200,000 square feet of state of the art production and inventory. We maximize our facility with two shifts of production, five days per week. We enjoy a culturally diverse workforce and promote team orientated solutions to delight our customers.

Job Vision: The Port Operator is an essential function of the Cutter & Buck platform who interfaces with our state of the art systems. The primary duty of this position is to fulfill orders by picking and processing inventory out of the AutoStore system. Other duties include inventory replenishment, cycle counting, and inventory control tasks. This role involves working with an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS), conveyor system, and corresponding software. The position processes all inventory through QA order closing and prepares for immediate shipment, consolidation, or enhancement.

and Essential Functions:

  • Ensure timely and accurate inventory pick and fulfillment transactions
  • Pick sales orders, requisitions, and transfers through WMi software
  • Induct incoming inventory into AutoStore
  • Assure order is consistent across system platforms
  • Route picked inventory to appropriate area
  • Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Identify inventory discrepancies
  • Assignments will vary due to business needs from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned

Position Requires:

  • Long periods of continuous standing, turning and repetitive hand motion
  • Limited sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
  • Frequent walking
  • Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 25-50 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 10 pounds

Qualifications, Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Inventory management or warehouse experience with physical products preferred
  • Dependable for full time shift, Monday through Fridays.
  • Organized
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to follow written instructions

Work Schedule: This is an hourly position. Schedule is Monday through Friday, Day Shift - 630am to 3pm. Employee is expected to report to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. Position regularly offers overtime hours during peak seasons.
