Job Description

The Municipality of Port Hope is inviting community-minded residents to apply to serve on local boards and quasi-judicial committees for the 2026–2030 term.

Local boards and quasi-judicial committees play an important role in supporting transparent, informed, and community-focused decision-making. Participation provides residents with an opportunity to share their skills, experience, and perspectives while helping guide the future direction of our community.

Residents who are interested in contributing to municipal decision-making and supporting the continued growth and well-being of Port Hope are encouraged to apply.

Renumeration

Please note that no remuneration is provided to members of the Port Hope Public Library Board, as service on the Board is voluntary.

The Port Hope Public Library Board supports community access to knowledge, culture, learning and education. The Board helps guide library services in accordance with the Public Libraries Act, 1990, and applicable municipal by-laws.
