Job Description

Join our Operations & Delivery team as a Port Delivery Agent in Barcelona where you will be the main point of contact for the cruise line for embarkation and debarkation operations.

You will work as a team responsible for the preparation of the operation, ensuring a high standard and quality service to achieve the highest guest and client satisfaction.

Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services is a TUI owned specialist business providing cruise ship handling services to cruise lines in destinations throughout the world. You will be assisting cruise lines and other clients on their daily operations.

This is a locally employed position. You must have the right to work in Spain and live in or close to Barcelona before applying.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll be the main point of contact with cruise ships to arrange, organize and prepare pier operations and services.
  • You'll coordinate bus transfers, ensuring smooth transportation logistics.
  • You'll lead and coordinate team leaders and regular staff during trainings and operations delivery at the port during turnaround operations.
  • You'll work closely with shipboard personnel at the pier to manage embarkation and debarkation processes.
  • You'll generate relevant operational documentation and assist with ground operations during unforeseen circumstances.
  • You'll collaborate with HR on recruiting, hiring, and training pier staff to maintain service excellence.
  • You'll be responsible to complete and submit post-operation reports based on internal company procedures.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have good administration skills with strong planning and organization abilities, and you're technically savvy.
  • You demonstrate high attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities while planning ahead.
  • You possess excellent soft skills including empathy, team building capabilities, communication skills, and are a good listener.
  • You can develop and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • You're highly responsible, customer-oriented, and able to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills effectively.
  • You're fully conversational in English and Spanish, with any additional languages like German, Dutch, French, or Polish being beneficial.
  • Driver’s license & own car is desirable
