Minimum Qualifications of the Successful LSC*
Min. Education requirements
A Master’s degree in fields such as Population Studies, Demography, Statistics, or Economics is highly desirable.
Min. years of relevant work experience
At least 5 years of increasingly responsible, relevant professional experience in population, data programmes, project coordination. Prior training in population and/or development issues, with a strong emphasis on SRH, GBV, youth and gender, is required. Demonstrated experience in programme planning, design, follow-up, and monitoring is highly advantageous.
Experience, Knowledge, and skills
Good knowledge of the Lebanese context, its social structure, and the sustainable development 2030 SDG agenda. Proficiency in current office software applications and corporate IT systems is required. Prior experience in the UN system is considered a strong asset.
Desired skills in addition to the competencies covered in the Competencies section
Familiarity with UN procedures and working methods is an asset.
Working experience with an international organization is an asset.

Fluency in oral and written English and Arabic is essential;
