Job Description

Join our team and help create safe, welcoming, and memorable pool and beach experiences for our guests. As a Pool & Beach Attendant, you will maintain cleanliness and safety of pool and beach areas, provide attentive guest service, and support daily operations to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of pool deck, cabanas, beach areas, and surrounding public spaces.

  • Set up and arrange loungers, umbrellas, towels, and pool/beach amenities according to resort standards.

  • Monitor pool and beach areas for guest safety and report any hazards or incidents immediately to supervision.

  • Provide prompt, friendly service to guests—assist with towel distribution, beach chair service, and equipment requests.

  • Enforce pool and beach rules with courtesy and professionalism to ensure a safe environment for all guests.

  • Perform routine water, chemical, and temperature checks as instructed; record readings and notify management of irregularities.

  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks, equipment checks, and inventory control of pool/beach supplies.

  • Support lifeguards and other team members during busy periods or special events as required.

  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve routine requests or escalate to supervisors when necessary.

  • Participate in scheduled cleaning, sand removal, and seasonal set-up/teardown activities.

  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines, including resort sustainability practices (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience in hospitality, pool/beach services, or guest-facing roles is an asset.

  • Current lifeguard certification, CPR, and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand/walk for extended periods.

  • Physically able to lift and carry pool/beach equipment and move lounge chairs as needed.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

  • Basic English communication skills; additional language skills are a plus.

  • Team-oriented with the ability to follow direction and work independently when required.
