Job Title: Pool Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced pool attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons using our pool facilities, as well as maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all guests. The pool attendant will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules and regulations, and performing basic maintenance duties.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival and ensure they are following all safety rules and regulations.
Monitor pool activity to ensure safety and respond to any emergencies or incidents in a timely and appropriate manner.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool area, including bathrooms, showers, and surrounding areas.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including checking and maintaining water quality, cleaning pool filters, and monitoring chemical levels.
Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure safety and enjoyment of all guests.
Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Provide assistance to guests with disabilities or special needs.
Participate in regular training sessions and stay up-to-date on pool safety procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Lifeguard certification from a reputable organization.
Strong swimming skills and ability to swim 300 yards continuously.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to emergencies.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Physical ability to perform routine maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
