The job involves:

• Providing hands-on support, training and direction to Line Cooks and Second Cooks while on station to ensure the final product is presented according to specification
• Ensuring food ingredients are safely stored in their designated area and rotated in a proper manner
• Enforcing health & safety and hygiene standards
• Reporting details of equipment maintenance problems and/or concerns
• Contributing to the creative design of menus
• Following established recipes and demonstrating a high degree of accuracy in food service and production
• Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels
• Providing remarkable service, by recognizing and anticipating guest’s needs
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in similar high volume establishments
• Red Seal certification an asset
• Food Safe Handler certificate
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent guest service skills
