Job Description

The Hotel Maintenance Employee is responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and guest rooms to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. This role performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and responds promptly to maintenance requests while following all safety standards and hotel policies.

Requirements

  • Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and building systems.
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Repair or replace damaged fixtures, furniture, doors, windows, flooring, and other building components.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Maintain exterior grounds as assigned.
  • Assist with painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Keep maintenance logs and complete work orders accurately.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies in good working condition.
  • Assist with emergency repairs and respond to after-hours maintenance needs when required.
  • Support hotel renovations and special projects as assigned.
