Position
Responsible for providing basic Sleep services.

Licenses and Certification
A-Step (Accredited Sleep Technologist) Completed within 2 years of hire date
BLS
Experience and Skills
Technical Experience: Background in patient care.
Physical Activities
Intermittent hand manipulation required
Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 pounds which can be modified
Role Specific Responsibilities
Monitors and evaluates patients with possible sleep disorders under the direct supervision of a sleep technologist or technician until Initial Competency Assessment is completed.
The sleep trainee will have the technologist or technician co-sign all studies that the trainee performs.
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Provides explanations and instructions to patients.
Works in a heated, air-conditioned office with routine office noise. Operates a personal computer and general office equipment. Operates medical equipment. Occasional exposure to moderate environmental variations and limited exposure to hazardous or potentially injurious elements or conditions.
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
$16.24 - $24.36
