Great opportunity to build a career learning the technical field of sleep medicine. This position will be working directly with patients and teammates to provide diagnostic testing for sleep disorders as well as applying therapy for sleep apnea. Off campus sleep lab with 3 night shifts per week. Currently closed on holidays. This position will require board certification within two years of hire.Performs quality diagnostic polysomnographic (PSG), as well as titration, multiple sleep latency (MSLT), and maintenance of wakefulness test (MWT) will be performed. Records and provides relevant and accurate data to physicians for diagnostic use in the treatment of patients with sleep/wake disorders. What you will do:

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program for Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or Respiratory Therapy, or other medical specialty preferred.
Possess basic knowledge of sleep disorders, electrical safety, with the skill to utilize computers for patient documentation and data gathering for patient care.
Registry eligible with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
Will consider eligibility to register with the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM).
Registry eligible as a Respiratory Therapist (RT), or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) within two years of the date of hire into position.
Working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
Obtain and maintain mandatory continuing education units (CEU) each year to maintain licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 60 days of employment.
