Polyschool Training Associate

Location: Based in the west coast (with travel throughout the U.S.)

Reports to Polyschool Training Supervisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically skilled Polyschool Training Associate to support the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of our training programs while serving as a technical resource for our sales teams and customers.

The Polyschool Training Associate plays a key role in coordinating and delivering impactful training experiences. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of Polyschool events, including event preparation, product and material organization, hands-on demonstrations, classroom facilitation, and post-event documentation.

The ideal candidate has a passion for the roofing industry, enjoys presenting and teaching others, and thrives in a dynamic environment with frequent travel and collaboration with sales, technical, and operations teams.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the planning, organization, scheduling, and execution of Polyschool training events.
• Prepare training materials, demonstration decks, and roofing system mock-ups.
• Coordinate products, tools, equipment, and supplies needed for successful training events.
• Ensure materials are ordered, shipped, and delivered to the appropriate locations on schedule.
• Conduct hands-on product demonstrations and assist with classroom training sessions.
• Support and guide additional technical staff assisting with training events.
• Manage cleanup, proper disposal of materials, and return of equipment following training sessions.
• Serve as a technical resource for internal sales teams, agents, and customers.
• Provide product knowledge, evaluations, demonstrations, and Polyglass solutions to customer inquiries.
• Assist with sales initiatives, promotional activities, and industry events as needed.
• Represent Polyglass at trade shows, conferences, and association meetings while identifying industry and market trends.
• Maintain knowledge of roofing systems, local building codes, industry standards, and competitive products.
• Partner with the Polyschool Training Supervisor to update existing training programs and develop new educational content.
• Identify opportunities to improve training processes, materials, and overall attendee experience.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint, as well as web-based applications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.
• Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience as a roofing manufacturer representative, roofing inspector, roofing contractor, or related roofing industry professional.
• Registered Roof Observer (RRO) certification.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Travel: Approximately 50% (local and overnight)
