About the Role:

In this role, you will maintain the appearance and finish of our resort’s wooden furniture and fixtures, helping create welcoming and well-presented spaces for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing wooden surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and filling before finishing.
• Applying stains, varnishes, lacquers, and other suitable finishes to furniture and wooden fixtures.
• Matching existing colours and finishes when carrying out repairs and touch-ups.
• Restoring worn or damaged surfaces to maintain a consistent appearance.
• Inspecting furniture and fittings and reporting any repairs required.
• Handling finishing products safely and following ventilation and protective equipment requirements.
• Coordinating with the Engineering team and protecting surrounding areas during work.

About You:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in wood polishing and furniture finishing, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
• Good knowledge of surface preparation, colour matching, and finishing techniques.
• Experience using polishing tools, brushes, and spray equipment.
• Knowledge of the safe handling and storage of finishing products.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to neat, consistent finishes.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete work within agreed timelines.
• Basic English communication skills and a positive approach to teamwork.
• Flexibility to work shifts and support operational maintenance needs.
