Job Description

Primary Details

Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeAssist in reviewing insurance applications, assessing risk factors, and determining appropriate coverage and premium pricing. This role involves significant collaboration with underwriters, agents, and clients to ensure accurate and efficient processing of insurance policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Process new business, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatement requests.
  • Assist in reviewing insurance applications to evaluate, classify, and rate risks.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to help evaluate and process insurance policies.
  • Examine documents to determine the degree of risk based on factors such as property condition.
  • Communicate with onshore underwriters and agents to gather additional information and clarify details.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining files, portfolio transfers.
  • Answer calls and emails to assist the agency network with inquiries and support needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.

Work Experience:

  • Familiarity with insurance regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Voice experience within the insurance and/or banking industry;

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
