• 4 days Part time (32 hours) permanent opportunity
• $87,302 + 12% Super + Salary Packaging
• Salary Packaging options available. You can use up to $9,010 per year of your pre-tax income for a range of everyday items and expenses and up to a further $2,650 per year on Meal Entertainment. This means you could pay less tax and have more money to spend!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and analyse qualitative and quantitative research to support population health, policy, and health promotion initiatives.
• Undertake literature reviews, evidence appraisals, data collection, and evaluation activities.
• Analyse data using tools such as Excel, Stata, NVivo, Qualtrics, and TreeAge Pro.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and visual summaries of research findings.
• Support project planning, ethics applications, implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Build and maintain partnerships with communities and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to policy development, population health messaging, and program improvement.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in public health, health promotion, health policy, health economics, social sciences, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in research, evaluation, and health promotion or policy projects.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research and analytical skills.
• Experience using research and data analysis software, including Excel, Stata, NVivo, Qualtrics, and TreeAge Pro.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Current Working With Children Check and Police Check.

Highly Regarded

• Experience in the health or not-for-profit sector.
• Knowledge of public oral health, OHV, or the Victorian health system.
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and culturally diverse communities.
